Charlotte joined Chambers as a Pupil in October 2024 and is interested in all areas of chambers’ work.

During her legal studies, Charlotte worked as a public law researcher for Landmark Chambers’ Public and Administrative Law team and editor of their Public Law blog.

She volunteered as a trade union advocate for the Cleaners and Allied Independent Workers’ Union (CAIWU), representing its members in a range of employment law disputes and drafting opinions. Charlotte spent a summer volunteering at a centre for refugees in Cyprus, where she supported asylum seekers with job applications and applying for labour cards.

Charlotte is also a freelance writer. She has contributed to British and Italian publications including The House Magazine, Il Fatto Quotidiano, The Fabian Society and Legal Cheek.

Before coming to the Bar, Charlotte worked in Parliament as a researcher and speechwriter to an MP, specialising in economic and education policy. During her time in Parliament, she managed responses to bills and honed her knowledge of the legislative process. A highlight of Charlotte’s work was advocating for self-employed mothers who were excluded from the Johnson government’s pandemic income support schemes.

Charlotte is a native speaker of Italian and English.
