Historic win for LGB Alliance

On 6 July 2023 the First Tier Tribunal handed down judgment in Mermaids v (1) Charity Commission (2) LGB Alliance, dismissing Mermaids’ attempt to appeal the Charity Commission’s registration of LGB Alliance as a charity. The Tribunal found that Mermaids did not have standing to bring the appeal.
