Rachel Crasnow QC and Rachel Barrett win in Court of Appeal key case about trade union rights of foster carers.

In The National Union of Professional Foster Carers (NUPFC) v Certification Officer,  an appeal has succeeded regarding the breach of human rights (Article 11) in relation to the right to be entered on the list of trade unions under s 2 of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992.

After several years of working for this trade union on this cutting edge case, the Court of Appeal judgment is a significant breakthrough.
